It's true that ADOBE FLASH v 10+ Beta and ADOBE SHOCKWAVE are necessary if you're a 3D and or 2D web developer. It's also true that Beta 10+ has put in some much needed security updates, but Adobe has a long way to go. The problem is frequently not Adobe's but idiot servers who don't how to keep up with patches to programs that require or run only in Flash - these firms are infecting the heck out of millions of users / clients, and they really don't care. I'm glad Microsoft will be offering FLASH some much-needed competition in SILVERLIGHT. I've been developing in the beta for the past year and love it to death! SILVERLIGHT supports developing in your choice of IE Safari Firefox or Opera.
